LTO responds, opens driver's license renewal office in North Caloocan amid requests
Amid the increasing number of motorists seeking renewal of their drive's license, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) opened Friday, Oct. 28, another satellite office in North Caloocan City.
LTO-National Capital Region-West Director Roque “Rox” Verzosa III said the opening of the driver's license renewal office (DLRO) at the Zabarte Town Center will provide convenience to thousands of drivers, not just in North Caloocan but even those in Quezon City as well, who want to renew their license not far from their place.

The DLRO at the Zabarte Town Center is near a medical testing center, the Aragain ANM Medical Testing Center along Zabarte Road, North Caloocan City as medical tests are needed in the license renewal.
"This is part of our efforts to decongest the number of people applying for renewal of driver's license especially that health safety protocol must be still observed. With the opening of a DLRO in the area, this will be more convenient and easy for people living near the area," said Verzosa.
Prior to the DLRO's opening, drivers' had to go to the Novaliches District Office or the LTO-DLRO Robinson's Novaliches, to renew their driver's license.
The driver's license renewal office (DLRO) in Zabarte Town Center is located at the mall's basement service lane.
Shortly after its opening, dozens of people who lined up as early as 7 a.m. to renew their driver's licenses were catered to by personnel of the LTO-DLRO.
The biggest advantage of the opening of the DLRO is making it easier for residents to renew their driver's license, said Verzosa.
"It's really a big opportunity for each and every fellow citizen of North Caloocan to renew their driver's license. now that we brought our office close to them," said Verzosa.
"We expect to cater to would-be several dozens of drivers in a single day, which will also help increase the revenue of the mall," he added.
