65 hurt by fireworks in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – Sixty-five fireworks-related injuries were recorded in this province from December 21 to January 1.

Police said 32 were adults and 33 were minors.

Thirty-six of them were injured from December 31 to January 1.

They were from Dagupan City, Urdaneta City, Santa Barbara, Calasiao, Malasiqui, Mangaldan, San Jacinto, Bayambang, Binmaley, Mapandan, Pozorrubio, Asingan, Manaoag, Agno, San Carlos City, Umingan, Anda, Mangatarem, Bugallon, Alaminos City, Binmaley, Rosales, San Nicolas, and San Manuel.

Majority of the victims were sent home after treatment.
