Burgos, Isabela declared drug-cleared

By Liezle Basa-Inigo The municipality of Burgos was recently declared the first drug-cleared town in the province of Isabela. This is pursuant to the Regional Oversight Committee (ROC) on Barangay Drug Clearing Program Resolution No. 2018-166. The declaration was made during a simple ceremony recently at the Sangguniang Bayan Hall in  Burgos, Isabela with the members of the ROC represented by Mr. Renante C. Rosero of PDEA RO II, PSUPT Warlito Jagto of Isabela Police Provincial Office, Senior Inspector Nieves Meña of Police Regional Office 2, Mr. Celso Alvarado of DILG, and Hon. Ismael Atienza representing Hon. Governor Faustino "Bojie" Dy III. Likewise, the 1st Seal of Drug-Cleared Municipality (SDCM) was also awarded to the Municipality of Burgos, Isabela by the ROC received by Hon. Mayor Kervin Francis G. Uy.
