The commissioned survey fielded over Aug. 17-23 asked 1,200 respondents whom they would vote for if the May 2019 elections were already being held.
The respondents were shown a list of potential candidates that include Mayor Binay, businessman Ricky Yabut, former Mayor Jejomar“Junjun”Binay Jr., and former Vice Mayor Romulo “Kid” Peña Jr.
Pulse Asia’s survey proposed three scenarios for registered voters, all of which projected landslide victories for the incumbent mayor.
Binay got 67 percent of the votes in Set A, which had her going up against brother Junjun and Yabut.
She garnered 65 percent of the votes in Set B, which included Junjun and Yabut.
Meanwhile, she finished with 69 percent of the votes in Set C, which had her going one-on-one against her brother.
Moreover, the survey found that Binay’s public support is echoed across all socio-economic classes.
The Pulse Asia survey has a margin of error of +/- 3 percent
