Bulacan solon flexes local UniTeam support in tricycle motorcade

A show of force for the UniTeam duo of presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos and his running mate, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte produced a 1,000-strong motorcade composed of tricycle operators and drivers in Bulacan last Tuesday, May 3.

The event, dubbed the "Sabayang TODA Ride for BBM and Sara", was organized by San Jose Del Monte (SJDM) City lone district Rep. Florida Robes, who is a staunch supporter of the Marcos-Duterte tandem.

She earlier vowed an “overwhelming win” for both Marcos and Duterte in her city in the upcoming May 9 polls.

Over 1,000 members of different Tricycle and Operators Drivers Associations (TODA) in Bulacan joined the ride that took place in at least 24 cities and towns all over Bulacan.

“Here in Bulacan, there is a big support for BBM (Bongbong Marcos) and Sara...I am glad to support this endeavor because this is also my way of showing my support to their call and the call of every Filipino behind their tandem,” Robes said.

Among the participating areas were SJDM, Norzagaray, Angat, San Miguel, San Ildefonso, Baliuag, Bustos, Pulilan, Plaridel, Calumpit, Malolos, Hagonoy, Paombong, Guiguinto, Bulakan, Balagtas, Bocaue, Sta. Maria, Pandi, Marilao, Meycauayan, and Obando, among others.

Robes expressed her gratitude to the TODA members for the successful event, which she described as a form of solidarity and support behind the UniTeam's call for unity.
