PHLPost launches writing advocacy program for COVID-19 frontliners

By Richa Noriega The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) launched recently “Salamat Po Frontliners,” a nationwide letter writing advocacy program for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) frontliners.
In a statement, Postmaster General Joel Otarra said a simple letter of gratitude can uplift the morale of the frontliners and show them how we appreciate their service. “We feel that the theme 'Salamat Po' (Thank You) is appropriate in today’s generation, especially among the Filipino youth, to inculcate the virtue of gratitude through the art of letter writing,” he said. To those who wish to write letters of gratitude for COVID-19 frontliners, send it via email at [email protected] or through Facebook page @salamatpoletterwriting.
