13 more COVID-19 patients recover at Asian Hospital

By Jeffrey Damicog   The Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC) in Muntinlupa City said on Monday (April 13) it has discharged 13 more patients who recovered from COVID-19. “Asian Hospital and Medical Center has discharged 13 more patients with improved health status, making a total of 35 COVID-19-free patients,” it said in a statement. AHMC said it currently has in admission 23 COVID-19 patients and 47 persons under investigation (PUIs), while 22 COVID-19 patients have died at the hospital. AHMC added that 39 of its healthcare workers are currently quarantined due to possible exposure to COVID-19. “Our battles against the disease are getting tougher and more serious everyday. Let us help ease the challenges encountered by all frontliners by practicing hand hygiene, strict implementation of social distancing, and staying at home to prevent the spread of the disease,” the hospital reminded the public.
