Lumpiang Shanghai is 2nd best street food in the world

The famous Filipino dish Lumpiang Shanghai has been named as the second best street food in the world, according to Taste Atlas on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Taste Atlas, in a Facebook post, showed that lumpiang shanghai earned the second spot with a 4.9 rating in its list of 50 Best Street Foods in the world as of September 2022.
Topping the 50 Best Street Foods list is Malaysia’s traditional flat bread Roti Canai.
Japan’s karaage, Vietnam’s banh mi, and Indian’s paratha, ranked third, fourth, and fifth, respectively.
“Lumpiang Shanghai is the most popular variety of lumpia, the crispy deep-fried Filipino snack that evolved from Chinese spring rolls,” Taste Atlas wrote.
