The Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa City announced Friday that five of its patients with the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have recovered.
“The cases continue to rise everyday and Asian Hospital and Medical Center reports five recovered COVID-19 patients,” it announced Friday afternoon, March 27. “Let us continue to do our role in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 by practicing hand hygiene, social distancing, and staying at home,” it urged the public.Meanwhile, the hospital has stopped accepting COVID-19 patients after reaching its full capacity but assured it will admit patients for other sickness and disease.
As of 5p.m. of March 27, the hospital said has admitted 27 COVID-19 patients and 41 persons under investigation (PUI). Among them, 27 have been placed at the intensive care unit (ICU).
It said there have been seven COVID-19 patients who have died at the hospital.The hospital said it has currently placed 25 professional and hospital staff on quarantine.
