Laborer dies after falling from 16th floor of Makati bldg

By Joseph Almer Pedrajas A construction worker died after falling from the 16th floor of a building under construction in Makati City where he was working on Friday morning. Police identified the victim as Allan Casil, 28, steelman at the construction of a business process outsourcing (BPO) building along EDSA corner Ayala Ave. Initial investigation from Makati Police disclosed that the incident happened in Barangay San Lorenzo around 11 a.m. He reportedly stepped on a worn out plywood that broke and led to the accident. The victim was immediately rushed to Makati Medical Center but died while he was undergoing treatment.
