Bat those lashes

By Jake Galvez @jakegalvez on Instagram Believe it or not, eyelashes can make or break your look because such detail can make a lot of difference with the way you look. So don’t count them out when you glam yourself up for your next occasion. There are two ways to enhance your eyelashes aesthetically. You can either get eyelash extensions or you can do eyelash perming. But what’s the difference? The former involves adding artificial lashes to your own to make them look longer and thicker, while the latter is a semi-permanent treatment that will curl your natural lashes upward, making them also look longer than the naturally straight ones. Knowing which one suits you better is important, as both have lasting effects that can last up to a couple of months. @itsashortegahas decided to go with eyelash perming but has some doubts with regards to treating her eyelashes. “Hi Jake! I have stubborn eyelashes and I’ve always wanted to try perming them. Is it safe and effective? I’ve heard so many horror stories about it!” Eyelash perming is the way to go if you want to say goodbye to your tried-and-tested eyelash curler. Similar to perming your hair, the same principles are done to get the desired effect. For eyelash perm, the lashes are coated with a special adhesive and wrapped around mini foam rollers that hold the lashes in the curled position that you want. A perming solution is applied and your rolled-up lashes are covered with a plastic wrap. Once they’re ready, a neutralizer and conditioner are applied as the final step. This type of procedure may discourage you due to some risks involved (such as skin irritation or, worse, it may even fry your lashes and make them fall out more quickly); however, if you are looking for a safe and effective treatment that will make your lashes stronger, longer, and healthier, then KeraLift will dispel all your worries and hesitations on getting your eyelashes permed. KeraLift is a breakthrough product that promises to change how you wear and look at your lashes. A product by Strokes by Momoi Supe, and the first and only FDA-approved and -registered keratin lash lift in the Philippines, KeraLift is a keratin-infused lash-enhancement treatment that boasts of only natural ingredients directly from the US. It is safe, is free of thioglycolate acid (the corrosive lash perm chemical that dehydrates lashes and makes them frizzy), and will make your beauty routine simple and easy. What sets KeraLift apart from other lash-perm treatments is that not only does it add lift to your lashes, it also gives tint and hydration for additional length and volume, making them fuller, longer, and healthier for six to eight weeks. Just like any other treatment, after care is necessary to obtain the best results. Make sure that you avoid applying makeup removers around the lashes, getting them wet, and for at least 24 hours, avoid putting on mascara or makeup on and around the lashes.   KeraLift is exclusively offered at Strokes by Momoi Supe.
