A registered nurse from Caoayan, Ilocos Sur was crowned Miss Tourism Philippines Queen Worldwide 2018 during a pageant held at the Chateau Royale Resort and Spa in Nasugbu, Batangas Saturday night.

Kamille Alyssa P. Quinola, 24, a registered nurse at the Ilocos Sur Provincial Hospital, bested 26 other candidates in the tourism-driven beauty pageant.
Quinola will represent the Philippines at the inaugural Miss Tourism Queen Worldwide 2018 beauty contest which will be staged in Manila in October this year.
A pageant veteran, Quinola promotes Ilocos Sur in the national beauty contest as a must-see destination in the Philippines.
Asked what makes Ilocos Sur special, the new beauty queen says: "The smiles, the culture and the tradition and the values of our people are the top reasons that will leave you saying 'sure Ilocos Sur!' "
Amy Sunio-Abarquez, CEO and President of Miss Tourism Philippines pageant, says that the national pageant is officially endorsed by the Department of Tourism and Department of Interior and Local Government.
Other winners were: Kathleen Tagle Gomez, Miss Tourism Philippines World; Jeniel Ela Estrella, Miss Tourism Philippines Universe; Loraine Joy Albana Arpia, Miss Tourism Philippines World Ambassador; and Krizzanthena Charla KC Babano, Miss Tourism Philippines Ambassador.
Runner-up honors went to Jan Rose de Castro, 1st runner-up; Justine Fernandez, 2nd runner-up; Nina Monica Madrid, 3rd runner-up; and Shermain Rochelle Duave, 4th runner-up.
Winners of special awards were Miss Malvar, Batangas (Gandang Amy-Tony Award); Miss Rosario, Batangas (Miss Media Live), Miss Balete, Batangas (Miss Photogenic, Miss Jergens, Miss MUD; and Miss Chateau Royale); Miss Ilocos Sur (national costume); Miss Nueva Vizcaya (long gown); Miss Isabela (swimsuit); and Miss Ilocos Sur, People’s Choice Award.
Other recipients of special awards were Miss Charity, Bacnotan, La Union; Miss Congeniality, Zambales; Miss Talent, Agoo, La Union; and Best Tourism Video Soccoro, Oriental Mindoro.
