5 drug personalities nabbed in Tacloban

Abrematea Tacloban City – Five drug personalities were arrested by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) last December 28 in Tacloban, which was declared drug-free just last November,. PDEA Eastern Visayas Regional Director Edgar T. Jubay identified those arrested as Charles Reneh Canalita, 34, a resident of Barangay Jugaban, Carigara, Leyte; Arnaldo Beltran, 33, of V& G subdivision, Tacloban; Ernest John Condatory Pacana, 33, of Scandinavian Village, San Roque, Tacloban; and Salvador M. Labarda III, 35, of Regina Hills Subdivision, Tacloban, and his unnamed live-in partner. Canalita was arrested at V&G Subdivision. Confiscated from him were eight transparent sachet of shabu worth P18,700. Canalita is considered a new drug personality in the city, Jubay said. Various drug paraphernalia were confiscated from the four other suspects.
