Qatar Airways increases flights to Cebu and Clark

Qatar Airways is now flying to Cebu daily since last Wednesday ( August 12) from only three times weekly before the end of last month.

The flag carrier of the State of Qatar likewise started flying to Clark six times per week from just once a week.

These are on top of its nine weekly flights to Manila since July 24.

The airline also increased its frequencies to Ankara, Turkey daily; Dhaka, Bangladesh, to five-weekly while Jakarta,  Indonesia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia will increase to twice daily and Istanbul (SAW)  Turkey  will increase to thrice daily.

In addition, Qatar Airways is resuming flights to Adelaide, Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; Houston, Texas, U.S.A.; Kigali, Rwanda; London Gatwick, UK; Nairobi, Kenya; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A. and Sialkot, Pakistan.

"Since the onset of the pandemic, our network has never fallen below 30 destinations with continuous services to five continents," stressed Qatar Airways Group Chief ExecutiveAkbar Al Baker.

Despite travel restrictions and shrunken demand in the wake of the pandemic, "We were able to rebuild our network to more than 550 weekly flights to over 85 destinations across six continents," he pointed out.

"As the global recovery continues, Qatar Airways will remain focused on its fundamental mission of carrying passengers across the globe safely and reliably," the Group Chief pledged.
