Former child actor arrested for stabbing foe in Marikina

By Dhel Nazario Actor Jiro Manio was arrested Friday night by police after he stabbed a man during a scuffle in Marikina City. Doctolero was brought to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center after he sustained three stab wounds. According to the report from the Marikina City Police, the incident occured at around 7:20 p.m. along M.A. Roxas Street, Brgy San Roque, Marikina City. Police said that Doctolero was walking to his friend's house when Manio assaulted him for no apparent reason which resulted to a fistfight. During the fight, police said that Manio pulled out a kitchen knife and stabbed the victim three times. The victim grabbed the knife from Manio and eventually broke the handle. Doctolero sustained injuries on his upper back and head and was brought to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center. Manio was arrested and will be charged with Frustrated Homicide.
