Local government officials recently launched new wifi kiosks that serve free wifi at the New Caloocan City Hall Complex at the Caloocan City People's Park.

With the new wifi kiosks, residents can enjoy up to two hours of free internet connection every day.
The Caloocan City government partnered with internet service provider Infinivan for the project.
In a statement, Caloocan City Mayor Oca Malapitan said residents will surely benefit from the wifi kiosks, especially with the rapidly developing technology.
The unveiling of the wifi kiosks on November 6 was led by Caloocan Councillor Enteng Malapitan, Caloocan City Administrator Engr. Oliver Hernandez and InfiniVan President Enrique Yu.
Prior to this, free internet connection was also set up for students of the University of Caloocan City.
Malapitan plans to add more wifi kiosks in other areas of the city, especially in North Caloocan, in the following years.
