Various personalities all over the world paid homage to Martin Luther King Jr. through a video titled “Dream Still Lives” released at 7:05 PM Central Standard Time on April 4 – the time and date the renowned civil rights leader was gunned down.
The video was produced and led by the iconic Stevie Wonder. "Although Dr. King left us 50 years ago, his dream is still within all of us," the American singer-songwriter said in his opening statement.
“The dream still lives,” former US First Lady Michelle Obama continued alongside former US President Barack Obama. They were then followed by well-known celebrities sharing their dreams for themselves and for the world.
The South-Korean boy group “BTS” or “Bangtan Sonyeondan (Bangtan Boys)” participated in the video, in which Kim Namjoon (Rap Monster) stated that his dream is to live in a world where “people love themselves.”
