Navotas LGU administers anti-pneumonia vaccine to senior citizens
The Navotas City government administered a total of 250 anti-pneumonia vaccines to senior citizens in the city on Monday, July 11.
The inoculation was held at the St. Peter Methodist Church on San Marcos Street in Navotas.
The local government said that the vaccines donated by the Department of Health (DOH) were given to selected senior citizens who were chosen by the Office for Senior Citizen's Affairs (OSCA) chapters in their areas.
In a Facebook live, Mayor John Rey Tiangco reminded the residents to continue to be careful so that they will not get sick.
Tiangco said the city will get more anti-pneumonia vaccines to accommodate more residents and protect them against the respiratory disease.
