The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has completed a total of 169 projects in 55 airports across the country.
In Luzon, a total of 63 projects in 23 airports were completed, among them were the Bicol International Airport (BIA), the expanded Puerto Princesa International Airport, the Sangley Airport, Tuguegarao Airport, Laoag International Airport, Vigan Airport and Lingayen Airport.
In the Visayas, 58 projects in 17 airports were completed.
These include the completion and inauguration of the first eco-airport in the country, Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA), and the renovation of airports such as Kalibo International Airport.
Also included were the Catarman Airport, Antique Airport, Kabankalan Airport, Roxas Airport, Bantayan Airport, Dumaguete Airport, Siquijor Airport, Ubay Airport, Biliran Airport, Borongan Airport, Calbayog Airport, Maasin Airport, Ormoc Airport, and Tacloban Airport.
In Mindanao, 48 development projects in 15 airports were completed such as the passenger terminal building expansion, renovation, and modernization of Zamboanga Airport; General Santos Airport; and Camiguin Airport.
