Highest grossing anime movie 'Kimi No Nawa' to premiere on Netflix

The popular Japanese animated movie “Kimi No Nawa” (Your Name) will be available on Netflix this month.

The movie is set to premiere on July 10.

Kimi No Nawa follows the story of two teenagers -- Mitsuha, a girl living in the countryside, and Taki, a city boy -- who develop a special connection after finding out they are switching bodies.

Released in 2017, “Kimi No Nawa” gained popularity not only among anime fans but the general public.

The film, directed by Makoto Shinkai, holds the title of highest grossing anime film of all time.

“Kimi No Nawa” has likewise received praise from film critics, receiving a 98% grade from Rotten Tomatoes, and 8.4 score on IMDb.

Other anime series premiering in Netflix this month include "Yu-Gi-Oh!: Season 1" and "Japan Sinks: 2020."
