JBC sets public interview of aspirants to CA, CTA associate justice posts

Twenty-four more aspirants to the posts of either Court of Appeals (CA) or Court of Tax Appeals (CTA) associate justice are set for public interview by the Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) starting on Tuesday, June 7.
Ten of the aspirants applied for CA post, 12 for either CA or CTA post, and two only as CTA associate justice.
The public interviews of 12 other aspirants to the CA posts are still valid, the JBC said in an announcement.
At the CA, the aspirants are vying for the posts left vacant with the retirements of Associate Justice Gabriel T. Ingles last February 22 and Associate Justice Edgardo A. Camello last May 19.
At the CTA, the post to be vacated is that of Associate Justice Juanito C. Castaneda Jr. will retire compulsorily on June 24.
Set for interview on June 7 are Selma P. Alaras, for CA or CTA; Niven R. Canlapan, CA or CTA; Lyn C. Ebora Cacha, CA or CTA; Madonna C. Echiverri, CA or CTA; and Arginald Julius C. Esguerra, CA or CTA.
Cylamen J. Fernandez, for CA; Corazon G. Ferrer Flores, CA or CTA; Doras P. Ferriols Perez, CA; Rixon M. Garong, CA; and Catherine P. Manodon, CA or CTA, will be interviewed on June 13.
Set for interview on June 15 are Robert Victor C. Marcon, CA or CTA; J. Ermin Ernest Louie J. Miguel, CA or CTA; Romeo D. Tagra, CA or CTA; and Rowena Nieves A. Tan, CA or CTA. On June 16, to be interviewed are Marlon M. Agaceta, CA; and Maria Antonette Brillantes Bolivar, CA.
On June 20, set for interview are Gener M. Gito, CA; Rosario Elena A. Laborte Cuevas, CA; Juliet M. Manalo San Gaspar, CA or CTA; and Ethel V. Mercado Gutay, CA.
To be interviewed on June 21 are Judith D Orendain Tonogbanua, CA; Josefina E. Siscar, CA; Mark Anthony P. Tamayo, CTA; and Nenita DC Tuazon, CA.
The other CA aspirants whose previous interviews are still valid are Edilwasif T. Baddiri, Snooky Maria Ana C. Bareno Sagayo, Allan Edwin P. Boncavil, Cresenciana DC Cruz, Amado Paolo C. Dimayuga, Maria Lourdes T. Eltanal Ignacio, Edilu P. Hayag, Raymond Joseph G Javier, Wilhelmina B. Jorge Wagan, Rosalyn D. Mislo Loja, Gregorio M. Nunag Jr., and Acerey C. Pacheco.
