Diaz takes over reins of Zambo del Norte Police Provincial Office

ZAMBOANGA CITY â€“ The Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office has a new director.

He is P/Col. Rainier P. Diaz who took over the reins of the ZNPPO on Monday, August 8, in an acting capacity.

Diaz led the Monday flag ceremony attended by Zamboanga del Norte Philippine National Police officials and personnel and provincial administrator Atty. Dug Christopher Mah as guest of honor and speaker.

Diaz then proceeded to preside over his first command conference at the Zamboanga del Norte provincial office at Camp Lt. Deogracias Hamac, Barangay Sicayab, Dipolog City.

The command conference was attended by the ZNPPO staff, chiefs of police and officers-in-charge of police stations.

Diaz took over the helm of the ZNPPO after the demise of former Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Director P/Col. Rodrigo Maramo on August 3.

Departure honors were given to Maramo prior to his burial at his hometown in Zamboanga city last August 10.
