Rico Blanco lights up Araneta Coliseum in his solo concert

Appearing on live stage after two years, award-winning singer and songwriter Rico Blanco returns with powerful performances during his concert at the Big Dome last Sept. 11.

The former frontman of Rivermaya, Rico opened his concert with the song "Antukin." The fans sang along with him as he played on the stage.

Rico's sweetheart Maris Racal made a surprise performance on stage that made the show more special. They performed a duet of the song "Abot Langit".

"Abot Langit" was the first song that he and Maris made together.

Rico went all out with the classics, such as "Kisapmata," "Yugto," "Umaaraw, Umuulan" and "You'll Be Safe Here." One of Rico's closest friends, Ebe Dancel, also made an appearance on stage singing the songs, "Wag Mo Aminin," "Bawat Daan," and "Burn Out."

"I've known Rico for almost 10 years, and napagdaanan na namin lahat. Kaya I'm very honored to be part of this event," Ebe shared during the concert.

Aside from Ebe, Zild Benitez performed his song "Kyusi," "Anghel," and "Magbabalik" with Rico, while Peniel sang her rendition of "Sundo" by Imago, and "Same Ground" by Kitchie Nadal.

Before ending his concert, Rico took the time to thank all his fans, friends, and family who came to his concert. He also performed his new single entitled "Palibot-libot", which he performed in the concert for the first time.
