NPD nets 351 ordinance violators in CAMANAVA

By Dylan Afuang  A total of 351 city ordinance violators in Camanava have been counted by the Northern Police District (NPD) from Friday, May 17 to early Saturday morning. These ordinances are: drinking in public; smoking ban; half-naked in public; minors violating curfew; and adults or minors involved in riots or gang wars. For the drinking in public ordinance, there were 51 violators in Caloocan, five in Malabon, and seven in Navotas. For the smoking ban, 34 in Caloocan and 41 in Navotas violated the ban. Meanwhile, 20, eight, and three violators were caught half-naked in public places in Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas, respectively. For the 10 p.m to 4 a.m curfew for minors, 38 in Caloocan, 53 in Malabon, and 12 violated the curfew in Navotas. For the ordinance that apprehends those involved in riots or gang wars, 70 were caught in Valenzuela. The city saw no other violators for the other ordinances. There were four and five violators for the said rule in Caloocan and Malabon, respectively. The NPD added that from the 351, 228 were warned and 123 were fined. It can be recalled that the NPD netted 405 violators from Wednesday, May 15 to Thursday, May 16.
