Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto surprised fans with their "It's Showtime" reunion, where they shared how much they missed working with each other.

Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto surprised fans when they appeared together on ABS-CBN’s noontime program “It’s Showtime” on Monday, giving their followers another dose of JoshLia chemistry.

The kilig went a notch higher when the former sweethearts opened up about how much they missed each other, particularly working together on set.

“Ako personally na-miss ko lang talaga si Julia. Na-miss ko siyang katrabaho, na-miss ko ’yung presence niya. Na-miss ko ’yung mga jokes niya,” Garcia said.

Barretto, for her part, said reuniting with Garcia on a project is something she always looks forward to.

“Marami kaming jokes sa set. Ako rin naman ang sarap katrabaho ni Joshua. So reuniting with him on the set is always something I look forward [to],” she said.

The two actors’ reunion comes as they star together in the upcoming Star Cinema film “Always Yours, Never Mine,” directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

The film marks another reunion for a tandem that has repeatedly clicked with audiences through the years.

Garcia and Barretto first became a popular onscreen pair, dubbed JoshLia, in the 2016 film “Vince and Kath and James.”

They went on to star together in “Love You to the Stars and Back,” “Unexpectedly Yours,” “I Love You, Hater” and “Block Z.”

They reunited in 2024 for “Un/Happy for You,” which once again put their onscreen chemistry in the spotlight.
