Bulacan trains LGUs to cut red tape

The Bulacan provincial government trained local officials on faster, clearer, and more transparent service delivery during a capacity‑building workshop on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center.

Led by the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) with the Anti‑Red Tape Authority (ARTA), the program focused on Republic Act 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business Act.
Topics included citizen’s charters, client satisfaction measurement, and complaints handling.
Governor Daniel R. Fernando, in his message, reminded public servants that leadership is measured by action.
“Efficiency at work creates trust and confidence among our people. That trust attracts businesses and investments. And when there are more businesses and investments, there are more opportunities -- that’s what grows our local economy,” he said.
The training is part of Bulacan’s Ease of Doing Business Champion Program, which rewards LGUs that excel in citizen‑centered governance and smooth investment processing.
