Man's body found under Muntinlupa bridge

The body of a man was found under a bridge in a creek between Barangays Bayanan and Alabang in Muntinlupa on Aug. 27.

According to the Muntinlupa police, the unidentified body was discovered at about 9 a.m. by a resident of the barangay.

The witness was fishing under a bridge when he noticed the body through an underground drainage opening. He immediately reported the incident to personnel of Barangay Bayanan who went to the area and requested assistance from the Barangay Putatan Police Sub-station.

Police officers responded and requested assistance from the Muntinlupa police’s Investigation and Detective Management Section and the Muntinlupa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (MDRRM) office.

MDRRM drilled a hole along a sidewalk to retrieve the body.
