2 motorcycle-riding gunmen rob loan collector in Antipolo
Two motorcycle-riding armed men allegedly robbed a woman collecting loan payments outside a store in Barangay San Isidro, Antipolo City, on Wednesday morning, Aug. 26.
Police said the victim had arrived in the area around 11:15 a.m. to collect payment under a “5-6” lending scheme.
She had just alighted from her motorcycle when two men on board another motorcycle approached her. Both suspects wore black jackets and white and black helmets that partly concealed their faces.
One of the suspects pointed a gun and declared a holdup, forcing the victim to surrender her belongings.
The men took cash, two smartphones, and her motorcycle.
One fled on the stolen bike while the other escaped on their own motorcycle toward NHA Avenue.
The incident was reported to the Antipolo City Police Station at 2:40 p.m.
Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage for possible leads.
