STA. CRUZ, Laguna - The Laguna Police Provincial Office, headed by Col. Sandro DC Tafalla presided over the turnover of office ceremony for four Municipal Police Stations, Famy, Kalayaan, Santa Maria, and Liliw, marking the formal transition of leadership and responsibilities in their respective areas of jurisdiction on Tuesday, August 25, held at Camp BGen Paciano Rizal, here.
At Famy police, the office was turned over by outgoing chief of police Maj. Elmer Aguila to incoming OIC Maj. Smady Antad; Kalayaan MPS, outgoing chief of police Maj. Reymond Austria formally turned over his responsibilities to Maj. Gloria Baliuag, Santa Maria MPS; the turnover from Maj. Patrick delos Santos to Incoming Maj. Ronald Jayson Dres, and Liliw MPS, Maj. Ajalino Balaoro turned over the leadership to Maj. Joseph Dacullo.
Tafalla’s guidelines emphasized the importance of leadership, integrity, discipline, accountability, and commitment to public service.
He reminded the incoming officers to continue strengthening police operations, maintain close coordination with local government units and community stakeholders, and ensure that police services remain responsive and accessible to the public.
The Laguna PPO remains committed to ensuring a smooth transition of leadership and continuity of police service, as its personnel continue to uphold their mandate to protect the people, maintain peace and order, and serve the communities of Laguna with integrity, dedication, and excellence.
