Power interruption to hit parts of Antipolo, Cainta on Aug. 26

Parts of Antipolo City -- specifically Barangay Muntindilaw -- and Barangays San Isidro and San Juan in Cainta, Rizal, will experience a power outage on Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) announced on its social media page that the interruption will occur between 10 a.m. and 2:30–3 p.m. in the following areas of Cainta: portions of Sunset Drive from Ortigas Avenue Extension to Brookside Hills Subdivision, including Birmingham Place I–III, East Summit Residences, Grand Monaco Bellevue 2, Birmingham Springfield, Sitio Pag-Asa, and Washington Area Street in Barangays San Isidro and San Juan.
Also affected are Brooklyn, Camden, Cincinnati, Convento, Dakota, Darwin, Deerwood, Dely, Denver, Duluth, Pasadena, St. Jude, St. Martin de Porres, and Villafuerte Streets in Brookside Hills Subdivision; Sitio Bulao; and Block 1 Street in Sunrise Executive Subdivision in Barangays San Isidro and Sto. Domingo.
In Antipolo, portions of Berkshire Street from Pasadena Street in Brookside Hills Subdivision, Barangay San Isidro, extending to Blocks 1–8, Flint, St. Martin de Porres, and Twin Peak II-A Streets will be affected, along with Sitio Bagong Sibol, Sitio Bulao, Sitio Majayjay, and Sunrise Alexa Subdivision in Barangay Muntindilaw.
Meralco said the outage is due to line reconductoring and reconstruction works, as well as relocation and retirement of facilities in Brookside Hills Subdivision, Cainta, and Barangay Muntindilaw, Antipolo City.
