Greenstrum partners with Huawei to launch ultra-fast commercial EV charger
Greenstrum is expanding its commercial footprint in the electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure market, offering white-label charging networks and battery storage systems directly to corporate fleets, property developers, and automotive manufacturers in the Philippines.
In a statement, Greenstrum said the enterprise expansion aims to capitalize on rising demand for private EV charging facilities as companies attempt to electrify commercial fleets and commercial real estate assets.
Under its enterprise model, Greenstrum handles the engineering, procurement, and construction of charging networks while allowing corporate clients to retain complete ownership and operational branding over the assets.
A central element of the expansion relies on hardware and battery integration through global technology provider Huawei. Greenstrum deploys top-tier fast DC EV charging technology via Huawei’s FusionCharge, with protection against grid overload and other electrical hazards, and rapid-response maintenance, among others.
To address grid constraints that often accompany high-output charging installations, Greenstrum is integrating Huawei’s LUNA2000 Smart Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
The battery units act as buffer systems, capturing power during off-peak periods and discharging energy during high-demand sessions. This approach allows enterprise operators to deploy fast-charging stations without requiring costly utility grid upgrades or incurring severe peak-demand electricity charges.
“Businesses have different goals in building their own EV infrastructure, whether it’s to operate their own fleets or to set up their own EV charging business," said Carl Decleodt, Chief Operations Officer at Greenstrum.”
“Greenstrum can provide tailor-fit solutions to support this need through expert installation services, backed by superior equipment for both EV charging as well as battery technology, and a proven record of safety and service excellence,” it added.
The enterprise move builds on Greenstrum’s experience as an installation partner for ACMobility's nationwide charging network.
All installations are certified by professional electrical engineers in compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code, and commercial setups feature solar-ready wiring alongside integration into the Evro mobile application for user billing and station locator services.
Through this push, Greenstrum joins a growing competitive race among regional infrastructure firms seeking to establish turn-key commercial charging networks across Southeast Asia as corporate vehicle fleet electrification gains momentum.
