Niño Muhlach involved in road accident in Antipolo

Actor Niño Muhlach was reportedly involved in a road accident along Marcos Highway in Antipolo City on Aug. 23. Initial reports said an SUV he was driving allegedly hit a man, a motorcycle, and two roadside establishments.

Actor Niño Muhlach was reportedly involved in a road accident along Marcos Highway in Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City, on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 23.

According to initial reports, Muhlach was driving an SUV when the vehicle allegedly veered off the road and struck a roadside area.

Responders reportedly said the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to hit a man who was reportedly eating at a nearby karinderya.

The man was reportedly injured and brought to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The SUV also reportedly ran over a parked motorcycle, which became lodged underneath the vehicle. Two nearby establishments, identified as a barber shop and a sari-sari store, were also reportedly damaged.

Muhlach reportedly reached out to the owners of the affected businesses and is coordinating with them regarding the damage caused by the incident.

The accident reportedly happened a day after Muhlach featured the white SUV on his social media accounts on Aug. 22.

Further details about the incident have yet to be independently confirmed.
