Bea Alonzo parts ways with Shirley Kuan

Shirley Kuan has resigned as Bea Alonzo's manager, with Chris Cahilig stepping in as the actress' interim manager. The management change comes weeks after Alonzo's wedding to businessman Vincent Co.

Shirley Kuan has resigned as Bea Alonzo’s manager.

The news was confirmed to us by an insider privy to the matter.

Kuan supposedly resigned amid a misunderstanding with the actress.

Taking over as Alonzo’s interim manager is Chris Cahilig, who will handle the actress’ professional affairs while a long-term management arrangement is being worked out.

The change comes only weeks after Alonzo married businessman Vincent Co in a private civil ceremony in Makati on July 13.

Kuan’s resignation reportedly took place on August 11.

Cahilig is the president of a marketing and media firm and also works as a film and music producer, director, talent manager, and festival director of the CinePanalo Film Festival.
