PCSO strengthens community healthcare through medicine donation to Baliwag, Bulacan

MANDALUYONG CITY – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated medicines and vitamins to the city government of Baliwag, Bulacan, during a turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Main Office on Aug. 5, 2026.
The turnover was led by PCSO Board of Directors Member Jennifer E. Liongson-Guevara, together with Medical Services Department, Satellite Division Chief Dr. Rouel C. Aparato as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to support local government units in strengthening healthcare services for their communities.
Representing Baliwag City Mayor Sonia Viceo Estrella, Administrative Assistant Kevin Ernest Macalinao personally received the donated medicines and vitamins. On behalf of the city government, he expressed his gratitude to PCSO for its assistance, emphasizing that the donation would greatly benefit Baliwag residents, particularly senior citizens and individuals in need of medical support.
The activity was conducted under the PCSO Medicine Donation Program, which aims to improve access to essential medicines and vitamins for Filipinos through partnerships with local government units, organizations, and other institutions nationwide.
Through this program, PCSO continues to uphold its commitment to promoting public health and improving the well-being of Filipino communities by providing much-needed medical assistance and support.
