NAIA issues notice on abandoned vehicles

The management of New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) issued a public announcement regarding two vehicles abandoned in the parking areas of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 1 and 3.

According to NNIC Security, the vehicles include a Mitsubishi Xpander (plate number DAN‑9523) left at Terminal 3 and a motorcycle abandoned at Terminal 1 (Parking C) since March 2025, which remains unclaimed.

NNIC explained that publishing a notice is a required step before the vehicles can be removed or towed. The measure ensures transparency and provides legal proof that the vehicles were abandoned, should questions later arise in court.

The corporation added that the public appeal is also necessary given the possibility that the vehicles may have been used in a crime, with details potentially surfacing during future investigations.
