A new set of pageant kings has been crowned!
Aaron Beau Davis of Albay was crowned Mr. World Philippines 2026 during the pageant's coronation night held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City on Sunday, August 2.
Davis bested 20 other candidates to win the title under this year's theme, "Most Desirable Men."
Aside from the title, Davis also received the Best in Swimwear, OkGames Ambassador, and Mr. Newport World Resorts Ambassador.
During the Top 10 question-and-answer round, Davis was asked, "A.I generated fake videos and images, can make people appear to say or do things that are not real. How should technology companies, governments, and the public work together to protect elections from false information?"
He answered: "“AI, it’s kind of like a double-edged sword here. Here in this country, there are positives with AI. It can improve efficiency, effectiveness, altogether. However, there are negatives. And I feel like us, as people here in this industry, as models, as actors, have felt this firsthand. We have been replaced in the industry, and it’s now our time to speak up and stand for ourselves. Because in the end, AI cannot replace humans, because humans have hearts."
Although the remaining titles were not announced during the coronation night, Christian Villarin of Iloilo was later named Mr. World Philippines 2026 Second Runner-Up, while Sean Kyle Ortega of Quezon City was declared Mr. World Philippines 2026 First Runner-Up.
