Man found dead beside motorcycle in Ilocos Sur

A man was found dead beside a motorcycle in a flooded rice field in Barangay Capangdanan, Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Sunday, Aug. 2.
A concerned citizen jogging in the area found the victim and reported the discovery to the police.
Initial investigation and examination showed no visible signs of foul play.
The Bantay Municipal Police Station is conducting follow-up investigation.
Police urged the public to continue reporting emergencies and suspicious incidents authorities to ensure prompt response.
“We extend our sincere condolences to the bereaved family,” the Bantay MPS said.
