3 rescued from well in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – Three individuals were trapped and rescued from a well in Barangay Plaza, Aparri, Cagayan, on Saturday.
Police said the victims lost consciousness while working due to lack of oxygen.
Authorities conducted a rescue operation and recovered the victims, whose identities were not disclosed. They were taken to a hospital where they are recovering.
Police reminded people to strictly observe safety precautions when working in confined spaces.
Among these are ensuring adequate ventilation, checking the presence of hazardous gases, and using appropriate protective equipment.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation.
