Veteran Filipino entertainment journalist, radio host and film producer Jobert Sucaldito has died at the age of 65, according to a statement posted Sunday on the Facebook page of the OOTD Jobert and Chaps Channel.
The announcement said Sucaldito "passed away peacefully" and thanked supporters for their years of love, prayers and support.
In July, film director Chaps Manansala had appealed for prayers after Sucaldito was hospitalized at Providence Hospital in Quezon City for nearly a month due to anxiety and sleep deprivation.
Sucaldito was a longtime entertainment reporter and radio personality known for his coverage of the Philippine show business industry.
