The cast and producers of the award-winning Filipino film "I'mPerfect" have arrived in Italy ahead of the 27th Lucania Film Festival, where the film is set to represent the Philippines.
The team shared their arrival on social media ahead of the festival, which will be held from Aug. 2 to 5 in Pisticci, Italy.
The festival appearance marks a milestone for Philippine cinema as the stars of "I'mPerfect" become the first Filipino actors with Down syndrome to represent the country at an international film festival.
Directed by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo and produced by Nathan Studios, "I'mPerfect" champions inclusion by featuring actors with Down syndrome in its lead roles.
The film was one of the biggest winners at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival in 2025, taking home the Best Picture award along with several other honors.
Members of Team "I'mPerfect" are expected to participate in festival screenings and related events during their stay in Italy.
The Lucania Film Festival is an annual international film event that showcases feature films and other works from around the world.
