PCSO donates medicines to 2 Bulacan barangays, 1 community in Manila

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continued its commitment to bringing essential healthcare closer to communities by donating medicines worth ₱90,000 to two barangays in Bulacan and one barangay in Manila during a turnover ceremony held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the PCSO Conservatory Building.

Representing PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, Medical Services Department Manager Dr. Clarissa B. Ferrer, together with nurse Joanne Alonzo, led the distribution of medicine packages valued at ₱30,000 each to Barangay Bantog and Barangay San Vicente in the Municipality of San Miguel, Bulacan, and Barangay 503, Zone 50, District IV in Manila.

The donated medicines were formally received by Barangay Chairperson Albert Silva of Barangay Bantog, Chairperson Isidro Santos of Barangay San Vicente, and SK Chairperson Jhemil Anne Ilao of Barangay 503, Zone 50, District IV, Manila.

The assistance was provided under the PCSO Medicine Donation Program, which aims to strengthen community healthcare by ensuring the availability of essential medicines for underserved Filipinos.

The donation likewise underscores PCSO’s broader mission of transforming revenues from its gaming operations into responsive and sustainable health programs that directly benefit communities. By working closely with local governments, the agency ensures that quality healthcare becomes more accessible to those who need it most.
