BATANGAS CITY – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency seized 75 kilos of suspected shabu worth P510 million from two drug couriers and their companion in an interdiction operation here on Thursday, July 30.

The suspects were identified as Hassad, 22, male, and Judelyn, 27, residents of Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City, and a 17- year-old minor.

Also recovered from the suspects were two identification cards, three mobile phones, one white van, several financial and billing documents, and other non-drug evidence.

The adult suspects are under PDEA custody and will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The minor will be turned over to the local social welfare service for appropriate intervention.

The contraband will be submitted to the PDEA Laboratory Service for forensic examination.
