73 Parañaque residents gets DOLE livelihood aid

Seventy-three residents of Parañaque City received livelihood assistance from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the city government to help them start or expand small businesses.
Mayor Edwin Olivarez led the turnover ceremony on July 1 at the Parañaque Sports Complex in Barangay San Antonio, where the packages were distributed through the city’s Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
Olivarez said the program aims to provide beneficiaries with sustainable sources of income and improve their families’ economic well-being.
He urged recipients to maximize the assistance by building stable and productive enterprises.
“This is an opportunity for our residents to become self-reliant and improve their quality of life through entrepreneurship,” Olivarez said.
The initiative is part of the city’s continuing partnership with DOLE to promote entrepreneurship and create livelihood opportunities, especially for vulnerable and low-income sectors.
The mayor added that the packages are expected to strengthen micro-enterprises, enabling beneficiaries to achieve financial independence while contributing to the local economy.
