Lawmen feted for arresting 2 robbers

CAMP NAKAR, Lucena City – The Quezon Police Provincial Office (QPPO) on Saturday honored lawmen who arrested two suspected robbers from Libmanan, Camarines Norte in Gumaca, Quezon Friday.

Police Col. Romulo Albacea, Quezon police director, awarded six members of the 2nd Quezon Provincial Mobile Force Company with certificates of recognition and the Medalya ng Kadakilaan (Philippine National Police Heroism Medal) for their exceptional courage, tactical efficiency, and invaluable service.

Albacea said their swift response directly led to the neutralization and arrest of the suspects and recovery of illegal firearms, bullets, and stolen cash and pieces of jewelry.

He added that this immediate recognition underscores the QPPO’s strict policy of rewarding outstanding field accomplishments.

“By honoring these operational milestones, the command aims to continually inspire its members to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, tactical excellence, and unwavering dedication to public safety across the province,” Albacea said.
