The Philippines strengthened its position as a premier destination for international events after showcasing Clark's readiness to host the JCI World Congress 2026 during the JCI Asia-Pacific Conference (ASPAC) 2026 in Niigata, Japan.
Led by JCI Manila, the Philippine delegation hosted the highly anticipated "Clark Night" on June 13 as part of the regional gathering, providing a glimpse of what delegates can expect at the upcoming JCI World Congress 2026, scheduled for November 11 to 15 in Clark, Pampanga.
The event attracted approximately 8,000 delegates from 30 countries, serving as a major promotional platform for the Philippines ahead of one of the world's largest leadership and networking gatherings.
Organizers said the event highlighted Clark's modern infrastructure, vibrant culture, and capacity to host large-scale international conventions while showcasing the country's renowned hospitality and commitment to global collaboration.
The promotion is expected to generate significant economic benefits for the Philippines, particularly for the tourism and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sectors. Organizers project that the influx of international delegates for the JCI World Congress could contribute hundreds of millions of pesos in tourism-related revenue and create opportunities for local businesses.
The successful staging of "Clark Night" was supported by several key partners, including the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), Nippon Paint, and PHINMA.
2026 JCI World Congress Director LA Sevilla said the strong turnout and positive response from international delegates reflected growing global interest in the Philippines as a host destination.
“This 'Clark Night' was more than just a presentation; it was a testament to the Philippines' capacity to host the world's brightest young leaders,” Sevilla said.
“We are humbled by the overwhelming response from our international colleagues here in Japan,” he added.
“By showcasing the modern infrastructure, rich heritage, and dynamic spirit of Clark, we are not just inviting delegates to a conference; we are inviting them to join a transformative movement,” Sevilla said.
“We are fully prepared to welcome the global community to Clark this November for an unforgettable celebration of leadership and unity,” he added.
The JCI World Congress 2026 in Clark is expected to be among the largest international leadership events in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, innovators, and changemakers from more than 120 countries.
Participants are expected to engage in discussions on leadership, sustainable development, entrepreneurship, and global cooperation while building long-term partnerships aimed at addressing pressing international challenges.
With preparations well underway, organizers expressed confidence that Clark will deliver a world-class experience for thousands of delegates and further strengthen the Philippines' reputation as a competitive destination for international conferences and events.
