President Marcos said government work will not stop despite the ongoing energy crisis, stressing that public service must continue across all sectors.
Even if the energy crisis is heavy, the work of government cannot stop there),” the President said in his latest vlog.
In the video, uploaded to his social media pages on Sunday, April 26, Marcos said key government functions—from infrastructure to social services—must continue uninterrupted.
We will not allow government services to be paralyzed, whatever problem we face),” he added.
The President said support for healthcare, education, sports, culture, and tourism also remains ongoing.
Highlighting housing program
Marcos used the vlog to highlight the administration’s housing initiatives, particularly the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH).
He said the program aims not only to build houses but to restore dignity and hope for Filipino families.
The President recently inspected housing projects in Pampanga to ensure quality and accessibility for beneficiaries.
It is encouraging to see that our people now have better and more comfortable lives),” he said.
The government has lowered interest rates for qualified beneficiaries to as low as one to three percent to make housing more affordable.
Officials said this has helped more families secure homes under the program.
Marcos reiterated his commitment to address the country’s housing backlog.
“Yung mga kulang ng bahay ay gagawan natin ng paraan (We will find ways to provide homes for those who lack them),” he said.
The President likewise said the government will continue implementing programs that improve the lives of Filipinos even amid crises.
We are fixing things one by one to make life easier for Filipinos),” he said.
He added that decent and secure housing should no longer be just a dream but a reality for every Filipino family.
