'Pilyo si lolo': Man arrested for watching porn, harassing female passenger during Los Angeles-Manila flight

Airport authorities arrested a 63-year old man for allegedly watching porn and harassing a fellow passenger during the Los Angeles-Manila flight.
The passenger was placed under the custody of the police’s Aviation Security Group after the incident was relayed to airport authorities when the plane landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The first complaint was over alleged harassment of the 63-year old man to a female passenger seating beside her.
The cabin crew was forced to transfer the female passenger to another seat over the rude behavior of the suspect.
Another passenger also told the cabin crew about the suspect watching porn in his mobile phone during the flight.
The content was reportedly visible to nearby passengers, including a minor, causing significant discomfort. The witness promptly alerted the flight attendants, who intervened to prevent further disturbance.
Cabin crew later confronted the suspect regarding the reported behavior. While he did not deny the allegations, he claimed he was merely exercising his privacy while browsing content on his mobile phone.
He subsequently issued an apology and was instructed to personally apologize to the complainant.
Upon arrival and completion of the initial investigation, the complainant formally expressed her intention to file charges. The suspect was then placed under arrest .
The suspect is currently under the custody of NAIA Police Station 1 and has undergone inquest proceedings conducted via electronic conference by the Pasay City Duty Inquest Prosecutor.
