The Philippine Food Expo returns this April with a broader showcase of Filipino food innovation, bringing together producers, chefs, and entrepreneurs under one roof while opening new opportunities for regional and international collaboration.
Now in its 18th year, the Philippine Food Expo (PFE) will run from April 17 to 19, 2026 at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City. Organized by the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization, Inc. (PHILFOODEX), with Cut Unlimited Inc. as exhibition manager, the event continues to position itself as the country’s most established all-Filipino food and beverage show.
Carrying the theme “Feast of Philippine Flavors to the World,” this year’s edition underscores both heritage and industry growth, highlighting how local food enterprises are evolving alongside changing consumer demand while maintaining a strong connection to regional identity.
A wider stage for Filipino food businesses
What began as a local sourcing event has grown into a platform that now attracts not only domestic buyers but also international interest, offering Filipino food producers a wider market reach.
The expo’s scale reflects this trajectory. Its most recent edition gathered more than 300 micro, small, and medium enterprises, exporters, and retailers, drawing an estimated 20,000 attendees over three days. The event generated sales while also serving as a venue for networking and market research within the food sector.
At the center of the 2026 edition are its exhibitors, presenting a range of food and beverage products that reflect both traditional flavors and contemporary developments in the Philippine food landscape.
New collaborations and culinary highlights
This year introduces a key expansion with the launch of its first International Pavilions, welcoming participating exhibitors from Malaysia and India. The addition signals a shift toward cross-border engagement, allowing Filipino businesses to explore partnerships and trade opportunities beyond the local market.
The program also leans into experiential elements. A series of live cooking demonstrations will feature chefs including Abi “Lumpia Queen” Marquez, Gerick Manalo, Emily Peralta, and JM Sunglao, offering audiences a closer look at techniques and interpretations of Filipino cuisine.
The annual Culinary Challenges return as a major highlight, gathering more than 43 schools in a competition that will spotlight the flavors of Davao. The segment continues to serve as a platform for emerging culinary talent while reinforcing regional representation in the national food conversation.
Adding to the event’s lineup is the Philippine Flair Tour, a flairtending competition that brings together bartending professionals from across the country in a showcase of skill and performance.
Celebrating regional identity and industry growth
While the expo expands its international presence, its foundation remains anchored in promoting Filipino flavors. Previous editions have spotlighted regional cuisines, including the Ilocos region, reinforcing the event’s role in elevating local food traditions within a national and global context.
Beyond exhibitions and competitions, the Philippine Food Expo functions as a meeting point for industry players, combining product launches, business-driven seminars, and networking opportunities that support long-term growth in the food sector.
Open to both trade visitors and the general public, the three-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Pre-registration discounts are available ahead of the opening, encouraging early participation from attendees looking to explore the country’s evolving food landscape.
As Filipino food continues to gain recognition, the Philippine Food Expo 2026 offers a snapshot of where the industry stands today and where it is headed, balancing tradition, innovation, and an expanding global outlook.
Open to both trade visitors and the general public, the three-day event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with pre-registration available from March 4 to April 10, 2026. For updates and inquiries, visit the Philippine Food Expo’s official social media pages.
