New Pokémon starters revealed for Generation 10

Nintendo reveals Pokémon Wind and Pokémon Waves as part of its 30th anniversary

Meet Browt, Pombon, and Gecqua!
These three are the new starters you can pick in the upcoming "Pokémon Wind" and "Pokémon Wave" games. The trio was revealed as part of The Pokémon Company's 30th anniversary livestream. "Pokémon Wind" and "Pokémon Wave" are expected to be released later this year as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. 
As the name suggests, both games will have a focus on Pokémon you can catch in the sky and in the water. Parts of the new environment were shown in the teaser trailer. Fans have already voiced excitement over the new world to explore. 
Revealed as well were new merchandise items to be made available at the Pokémon Center. Some of the items teased include a Game Boy mini music player that plays music from the Generation One games. Content for "Pokémon Pokopia," an "Animal Crossing"-esque game, was also shown. "Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness" has also been slated to be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 next month via the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service.
