BridgeWise buys Chicago's Context Analytics ahead of Philippine launch
BridgeWise, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) for investment research, acquired Chicago-based Context Analytics to bolster its data processing capabilities ahead of the planned expansion into the Philippines this year.
In a statement, BridgeWise said the acquisition of Context Analytics, which specializes in processing unstructured financial data, allows the company to integrate social media sentiment and news analysis into its existing asset-appraisal platform.
BridgeWise said the combined entity aims to serve Philippine digital banks, brokerages, and fintech platforms as the country pushes for greater capital market participation among retail investors.
BridgeWise, headquartered in Israel, provides investment intelligence to more than 50 institutional clients including the Japan Exchange Group Inc. and Rakuten Securities Inc.
The company said the deal creates an end-to-end infrastructure capable of converting human-centric information, such as company disclosures and social media posts, into machine-readable data for regulatory-compliant investment insights.
The move comes as the Philippine fintech market is projected to reach approximately ₱260 billion in value by 2026, driven by a surge in digital wallet adoption and government efforts to modernize financial infrastructure.
BridgeWise plans to deploy its “pAI” wealth agent in the local market, a conversational AI tool designed to help banks and trading platforms offer personalized portfolio management to users who may have previously lacked access to high-touch advisory services.
“Our vision has always been to provide the most robust financial intelligence on the planet,” Gaby Diamant, Chief Executive Officer of BridgeWise, said.
“By joining forces with Context Analytics, we have created an end-to-end powerhouse for the global financial ecosystem that can respond to the needs of the Filipino institutional and individual investor,” he added.
Context Analytics is currently used by firms including S&P Global Market Intelligence to decode complex filings and social media conversations into sentiment scores. By merging these “alternative” data sets with BridgeWise’s analysis of global securities, the company intends to provide Filipino wealth advisors with a more comprehensive view of market drivers.
The integration is designed to address the specific needs of the Philippine market, where retail interest is increasingly influenced by online discussions.
BridgeWise said its platform will allow local institutions to deliver agile wealth-building experiences to millions of users simultaneously, lowering the barriers to entry for those looking to build individual portfolios.
